super-high pressure Testing pump


   3D-SY series of super-high pressure pump is one of products improved by our company recently. According to the user's information feedback, this series of super-high voltage pumps will affect the valve work due to test medium dirty during industrial operation. Now we increase a one-way valve in the pump outlet and the relief valve is installed in front of one-way valve to avoid the test medium to flow back to water tank by the pump to protect the valve in pump to be no longer affected by dirt medium. In addition, a safety valve is installed on the original pump to play a protective role when the system is overloading.

 

. Use
  3D-SY series of super-high pressure pump may meet the pressure test and burst test of different types of containers, pipes and valves. The test pressure can rise to the rated discharge pressure from atmospheric pressure. The pump delivery medium is generally emulsion and it also may be anti-rust water and neutral oil with the viscosity being similar to the emulsion and its temperature is 5 ~ 60 ≧.

‰. Main structure and work principle
  
   The pump is a horizontal three plunger pump and is composed of motor, pulley, rack, pump head and base. .
   
   1. Rack
   
   The rack is composed of machine body, crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, etc.  The motor is reduced speed by V-belt. By means of the crank, the rotary motion is changed into a reciprocating linear motion of the crosshead.
  
   The machine body is a cast part in box structure. Three mounting holes are bored its front end to ensure the concentricity between plunger and crosshead. A rectangular hole is opened on rear end of the machine body to easy assembly and disassembly of crosshead, connecting rod and other parts.
  
       The crankshaft is an overall type of three-crank. The big head of the connecting rod is a split structure with a standard connecting rod bush for 175 engine and the small head of the connecting rod is with a copper bush for connection with the crosshead pin.  
  
   The crosshead is a cylinder-shaped structure and both ends of the hole for matching the crosshead pin are with elastic ring to prevent the pin to move.  The connection of crosshead and plunger uses an intermediate spherical structure, which can ensure the automatic positioning of the plunger.
   
   2. Pump head
  
   The pump head is composed of pump body,suction valve, discharge valve, vice side of plunger and other parts. The pump body is fixed on the machine body and the plunger is driven by the crosshead to do a reciprocating movement in the pump body to make the work volume in the pump body produce a periodic change. When the plunger is in a inhaled stroke, the internal volume of the pump is increased and the discharge valve is closed to form a local vacuum. Under atmospheric pressure, the working medium comes into the pump body by a suction valve; On the other hand, the suction valve is closed, the working medium is discharged by the discharge valve. By means of one-way valve, it is transported to the tested device by external piping until the required pressure is reached at.
  
   In addition, a visual pressure gauge is installed on one-way valve at the right of the pump head to monitor the pump discharge pressure.

   A safety valve is installed on the left of the pump head for protective effect when the system is overloaded. The take-off pressure of the safety valve has been calibrated at the factory well, the user should not adjust it.  
   
   
   
   ♯. Using method and note 
   
   1. Use method 
    
    a. The gearbox is filled lubricating oil fully to male oil level reach at the marked height.  The lubricating oil is N68 oil (which is equivalent to old No. 50 machine oil). The plunger box is filled N46 lubricating oil fully (which is equivalent to old No. 30 machine oil) and the oil level should reach at the plunger center height.
   
   b. Check if the connection bolts on every drive parts are loosening.
 
    c.Check if the water tank is filled transportation medium fully at room temperature. The level should be up to the top limit of water mark.
 
    d. Turn the pulley and check if the mechanism is jamming or collision during the machine operation process. At the same time, check if the seal compression nut is loosening.
   
   e. Connect test part and the system well. 
 
   f. Open the manual relief valve and start pump to run under common pressure fro few minutes. After the running is normal, close the relief valve  to let the system pressure rise.  
 
  g. When the system pressure reach at the requested pressure, stop machine and the system carries out the keeping pressure test. 
   
   2.Note
 
    a. According to state requirements, the pressure gauge range should not be less than 1.5 times of the test pressure. Before use, the user should check the pressure gauge please.
    
    b. It should be carried out strictly accordance with the requirements of operation process.
   
   c. Before the pressure rising, the gas in the tested container should be discharged out.
  
  d. During the pressure rising test, it should be not over the rated work pressure of the pump. 
    
    e. Pump and piping should be installed in the room with protective equipment.
  
   f. It is prohibited to dismantle accessories and maintenance under high pressure. It must be carried out after stop machine and unloading.
    
    g. During the pump running, if any unusual is found, it should be shut down immediately. After the trouble be ruled out, it can be run again.  
   
   
   ♭. The inspection during pump operation
   
   1.The temperature in the crankcase should not exceed 70 ≧ and it should be no unusual noise and intense vibration.
  
   2.Check the temperature and lubricant level of bearings, plunger, etc. 
   
   3.Check if the discharge pressure of the high pressure pump is normal.
  
  4.Check the piston seal to avoid drastic friction between piston and ring to cause a sharp temperature rising. When the temperature of the plunger and the seal are found too high, they should be stop pressure rising and run at atmospheric pressure. After the plunger and the ring running are in a good state, it can be rising pressure. When a serious leak is found at the plunger and the ring and the pressure rising does not go up, replace worn seals.
